Design Concept
Designing a workspace community that is inspired by the process that steel undergoes. The design provides the opportunity for the private and public users to concentrated and flexible spaces through the emphasis on steel’s forming processes, durability and sustainable elements
Conceptual Collage
There are a number of steel forming processes- including forging, pressing, piercing and extruding but by far the most important one is Rolling. Illustrating the process of rolling steel and how this rolling motion down into the sheet metal starts to create organic curves that will shape the spaces in my design.
